STORYFEST

Books • Film • Culture Hosted by the Institute for Southern Storytelling An exciting culmination of books, film, and culture. This double header event features a screening of author Michael Farris Smith’s directorial debut short film CHASING RABBITS, filmed in Clinton with a student crew from the Institute for Southern Storytelling at MC. The second half of the evening will be a conversation with film and television clips highlighting the career of celebrated actor Gary Grubbs. This promises to be an entertaining night as the audience enjoys insider Hollywood stories from both Michael and Gary. This event, moderated by Institute co-founder Anthony Thaxton, is free to the public and will begin at 6:30pm in the Entergy Theater at the Gore Arts Complex on the Mississippi College East Campus in Clinton.
